Virals

Tory Brennan, niece of acclaimed forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (of the Bones novels and hit TV show), is the leader of a ragtag band of teenage "sci-philes" who live on a secluded island off the coast of South Carolina. When the group rescues a dog caged for medical testing on a nearby island, they are exposed to an experimental strain of canine parvovirus that changes their lives forever.

As the friends discover their heightened senses and animal-quick reflexes, they must combine their scientific curiosity with their newfound physical gifts to solve a cold-case murder that has suddenly become very hot-if they can stay alive long enough to catch the killer's scent.

Fortunately, they are now more than friends- they're a pack. They are Virals.

  1. I recently started reading this book. So far it is good and has got kind of exciting. Tory, Hiram, Ben, and Shelton were trying to find who a dog tag belonged to. They did some research and found it belonged to a missing girl's father. They ended up finding her body, but some people ended up shooting at them.

    1. This is not my normal kind of book, but it hooked me. I thought it was full of suspense and I wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen and who the bad guys were.

  2. I finished this book and I thought it was good. When I first started reading it I didn't think it would be that good, but it was. It was interesting what ended up happening in the end of the book. It was something that I didn't expect.
